Red Top Mountain State Park Campground

Awesome park. Loved camping there. No bugs … just lady bugs. Laundry area was clean and good priced. Laundry came out clean and dry. Camp fire ring, bbq, water, electric, RV or tent camping, restrooms, laundry, trails, fishing, boating, etc

Highly recommended and a great spot to go camping or RV. They even have Urts! Great views! Great staff, Rangers, and hosts. The surprise was what's in the area for hikes ,trails and fishing.

Wonderful campground. Facilities are clean and hosts are really nice. Pictures on GA state parks website are not up to date. There is a good chance you will get here and not have the site you think you booked. Currently a pine beetle infestation in they are trying to handle so lots of dead and downed pine trees and brush piles. Some sites are very close to these piles. In the winter this doesn’t matter (best time to be here anyway) but in the summer I can imagine this is a critter issue. Over all great campground with great trails within walking distance.

Beautiful place to camp the water is pretty and clear and felt great to walk in and swim definitely will be coming back

I’ve spent many weekends tent camping here, and even went a few times with the whole family. It’s an amazing park, clean and the campgrounds are nice with a good view of the lake. There’s plenty of spots for fishing, both on the shore and out on the lake in a boat. It’s a great experience.
