Tru by Hilton Austin NW Arboretum

We always visit and stayed in this hotel often cause our kids are Ut students and it is convenient to stay when we come on different occasions and we love it. But our experience from your front desk today was very disappointing. This young lady who works at the desk by the name Bela was extremely rude and we felt that we weren’t welcomed and we were treated poorly. Her attitude and unfriendly we felt that we are bothering her for our few minutes interaction we had to check in to our room. Hope she will get some kind of customer service training, it is sad to see some workers ruined the reputation of this nice hotel.

Very good stay. Friendly check in and easy to get more towels. Clean room and clean common areas. Ac worked great, kept room very cold while slept. Very quiet all night. Breakfast had fresh fruit and the food items were regularly replenished. A couple of reasons it didn't get 5 stars. The pool table (always a bonus and the reason we seek out Tru hotels) was in good condition but only had one 1 regular sized cue. The lobby coffee was not good. I don't know if it's because I don't like the water here and it's made with unfiltered water or they made it wrong. The hot water didn't last til the evening so couldn't have my evening tea.

My Hisband and I had a wonderful stay for father's day weekend. It was quite and very clean. Lots to do around there. We will definitely go back and stay again.

A bit far off the beaten path if you are just passing through as I was, but this hotel was great for the price. I had a problem with my HHonors digital check in, and the lady at the front desk was very accommodating and patient with us when checking in despite it being 2 AM and taking awhile to get it figured out. As per usual with Tru, the breakfast options are rather limited, but you can't complain at the price. Rooms were clean as a whistle, and the walk in showers are always nice to have.

We found this place by chance and it exceeded our expectations. The setup is brand new the style fresh and dynamic. The breakfast and common area is casual elegant and relaxing. It is of course away from the center of Austin but this was not an issue for us. The place is easy to reach on wheels.
