Tru by Hilton Albany Crossgates Mall

I highly recommend anyone traveling for business (or any other reason) to stay at this hotel. It was extremely clean, easy to navigate and comfortable. There were a lot of people staying at the hotel when I was there and it was still very quiet. All of the employees were friendly. I was traveling alone, as a woman and I did not feel one bit unsafe. It was also walking distance to the mall and close to other restaurants and shopping centers. Will 100% stay again next time. Great experience.

I was going to write a lengthy review, but then I read Charlie B's review from June 2025, which says it all. You should read it too. Who needs any drawers in a room when you can work out of a suitcase on the floor? Well said Charlie. Somewhere further back someone else posted several pictures from the room which show it off perfectly ||I loved the Hotel's response - " Your observations about storage, the desk setup, and bathroom configuration are especially helpful and will be shared with our corporate and design teams for consideration as we continuously evaluate how to better serve all of our guests". Will be shared with the design team?! Oh, they didn't notice there was no closet or adequate storage? |:-)

An absolutely FANTASTIC hotel. When I was having issues trying to check in with one of my cards I had to do some money transferring between my other cards, which was a whole ordeal (on my end, no fault of the hotel's). The young gal and other workers at the front desk were very understanding and compassionate- telling me not to worry and to take my time. I was given water and a comfortable chair to relax in, out of the cold and dark - until I finally got things squared away. We did however miss the breakfast in the morning, which I have heard is amazing, because we were so comfortable in our beds in our peaceful room that we didn't want to get up! 🤣

Great stay! I’ve never had such great such service at a Tru before. Quan at the front desk was so sweet and made me feel like a valued guest. She even offered us a to go bag with water thanking us for our stay. Overall the best Tru I have ever stayed at.
