Courtyard by Marriott Albany Airport

Flew in late and called the hotel to ask if there was an airport shuttle. The front desk said she would send the shuttle. Came around 10 minutes later. Was very happy to get picked up and just go to sleep after a long day of travel. Bed was comfortable. The place is super clean and very new. Bathroom was fine. Towels fine. Gym is blah but good enough. Pool looks nice. Large space. Meeting rooms for small conferences. Good coffee at the restaurant.

I had a great stay at the Courtyard by Marriott in Albany NY on the night of Sunday, 02/28/2021. I was greeted by a friendly gentleman who happily assisted me with booking a room for the night. The parking lot is well-lit and well-marked. The lobby is friendly and inviting. The room was clean and well-appointed. The bathroom is great. The shower is of the glass walk-in variety like a Roman shower and has great water pressure and is quite roomy and spa-like. There’s even a small ledge for you to put your foot on for additional needs. The blackout curtain in the room slides across completely without a gap so that you can truly get a good sleep in a darkened room. That was truly appreciated.

Clean comfortable bed good location

Was here over the holiday, very nice setup close to Starbucks and a few restaurants. The staff is friendly and the rooms are nice and big. Plenty of space in the lobby with ample lounge space. Would like a dog friendly room that isn’t part of the Residence side but maybe one day.

I was charged an extra $11 on my bill and I simply want to know what it's for. Your AI answering service doesn't have the answer to my question and I find it next to impossible to get a real person on the phone. The room and my stay were fine but until I can get an answer to my simple question this review will remain a 1 star review.
