Hampton Inn Albany-Western Ave/University Area

We stayed here our first night in Albany, and ended up booking an additional 2 nights. Clean rooms, helpful staff, and a fantastic breakfast! We stayed too busy to make use of the pool and fitness rooms, but they looked nice as well. Will definitely stay here again on future trips to the area.

We absolutely loved this hotel. The pool was really warm and not too busy. They even have a nice fitness center. The staff was great. Spotless throughout and breakfast was also really great. Great place to go with the family. Awesome value. Down the street is the largest Walmart in the country that is two stories and has an escalator for your shopping cart!

I booked on line for a better rate than the hotel directly. I thought for the money it was a very good deal. Amenities, proximity, breakfast, all day long free coffee. I’m not sure how much the price would change for other days though. I’d stay again

Great stay! Room was clean with fresh and comfortable bedding. The only small issue was that faucet was leaking. It appeared the lobby was recently renovated and breakfast area was well stocked with a variety of hot items like omelette, breakfast meats and potatoes and their signature made to order waffles. The area was clean and well maintained by the staff. We really enjoyed it!

The staff here are delightful. The man that runs the breakfast buffet is so hard working and he keeps the entire breakfast area in tip top shape. Speaking of-this has got to be the best hotel buffet breakfast I’ve ever had. Great variety, fresh, hot, delicious food. It’s included in the price of the stay and super convenient! Rooms are nice but somewhat dated. Beds a little squeaky but comfortable enough. Nice and clean. The pool and gym are also clean and well kept. This hotel is conveniently located close to UAlbany, crossgates mall, Walmart, the airport, restaurants, etc. Nice area out back as well for sitting in nature. We loved our stay here and will definitely choose it again next time we’re in Albany!
