Travelodge by Wyndham Redding CA

Very comfortable room and slept well in the bed. Nice and quiet location. And the staff were great. Bring a breakfast because you have to drive to get one. Handicapped features were excellent and we were got around easily.

The hotel was easily accessible from the major roads into Redding, it was necessary to drive to restaurants for dinner. Room was spacious and comfortable, we enjoyed the breakfast selection. Staff were very friendly and attentive. It was a shame there was no safe or coffee maker in the room but not an issue. Drawers in room would not stay shut and we ended up with a couple of bruises each where we bumped into them. Room could do with a deep clean as there were a couple of cobwebs in the bedroom and it looked like someone had been sick on the bathroom wall.

It was the worth stay in my life Worth than motel 6 The room was not even clean, you can smile smoke. I end up not sleeping in the room and they refuse to refund my money I am disputing the charges. By the way don’t believe the pictures when reserving the room from your phone

Check in was easy, staff was friendly. Our room was clean but sparse. Very plain room with no toiletries except for soap and shampoo in pump bottles. I did find someone’s shower cap hanging from the bathroom door. The bed was comfortable but didn’t sleep very well due to some machine noise outside. We were disappointed that the breakfast was only until 9am. What hotel ends breakfast so early?We don’t want to wake up early just to eat breakfast. Weirdest thing. Overall, it was an okay stay. We were just passing through for the night. If we pass through again, don’t think we’d stay again. Do recommend Willy’s brewery and restaurant in downtown and Black Bear diner for breakfast.

I have absolutely no idea how this motel has received the 4 star rating it has. It is maybe a 2. When i checked in, there was no one at the front desk, i waited almost 5 min before someone came out. She was very friendly and as i had checked in online, things went smoothly. It is an older hotel, no elevator, no interior doors. My fault for not verifying ahead of time, i do not like exterior doors. As it is just 2 floors the lack of elevator was not a problem. What was a horrible problem was the incredible noise all night long. The air conditioner went off like a train coming through the room several times during the night, the mini fridge, was loud and at midnight, starting again at 5:00a, the showers in the rooms on either side were loud enough to wake me up.
