Fawndale Resort

What a cool little place. Check in is online no staff. Stayed in room #4 microwave and fridge, tv. Very clean very comfortable. Used the gazebo and one of thier charcoal grills. Very rustic vibe would definitely stay here again!

We stayed here after kayaking in Shasta Lake. The room was clean, comfortable, full size frig and microwave. The owner is friendly and the grounds are well kept. Although it's right of the highway, it was still quiet and you didn't feel like you were right off the highway.

After a long drive, our room at Fawndale Lodge and Resort was just what we needed. It was clean, quiet, and comfortable! I was traveling with my Sister and Mom who has mobility issues. Our room worked perfectly as we each had our own bed (I had paid the wee bit extra for the bonus room.) The bed was low which meant my Mom could easily transfer from her wheelchair to it -- a huge plus. We had brought dinner and enjoyed eating it outside at the table on our porch. Nice that the room had fridge and microwave too. The setting was woodsy - a large camp feel. Our room was rustic in a wonderfully well maintained way. We were too tired to use the pool but nice there was one. Fawndale is easily reached from the freeway. This means there is slight road noise, but not enough for me to even put in m

This perfectly met my needs. Room 7 comes with a carport and given everything that was packed in my car it made me feel better. But honestly the resort was so quiet I as a single woman felt very safe. Loved the chairs out on the porch unfortunately with the nearby fire I didn’t partake. But the room didn’t smell Smokey which is surprising so good job there fawndale. And the fridge actually froze my ice blocks I was using… stayed in much more expensive places without that luxury.

Just stayed for a night. The room is very nice for a motel and RV park. It's right off the highway, but without the noise in the rooms. Love the carport we got for our room. The beds are very firm, like you can bounce a quarter off them. Me and my back loved it. My husband? Not so much. The view out the front was pleasant, and one can enjoy a coffee looking. Okay, leaving we spotted a cat. Had to update. Makes it a 6 star
