Hampton Inn & Suites Redding

Very nice rooms. My main complaint was that I asked that the GM contact me about a concern. I was completely ignored and dismissed. I contacted corporate and had my issues addressed. This hotel also feels that guest are too stupid to operate clocks. They do not provide a wall clock or bedside clock. I do not enjoy turning on my phone while I am sleeping to see if it is 3am or 6am. Housekeeping was wonderful and breakfast was pleasant. You will enjoy your stay as long as you do not have to deal with front desk or the GM.

Positive: Location. Close to wear we needed to be but tucked away from business. Negative: Breakfast was ok. It is an inferno in the breakfast area. Tv is small in the room but ok. A/C and fridge were noise. The Hampton in Chico has a huge tv and a better breakfast option. Better rooms. Just comparing same hotels in different areas.

Great comfy bed and pillows. Good staff. Breakfast was nice as always, but we caught norovirus from there a day later. Use caution. Parking access was good. Fairly quiet rooms. Carpets in hallway seemed a little dirty. Good towels and soap/shampoo.

The room we got is awesome. So Big, beautiful and clean. Plenty of space to lounge. A love seat and 3 chairs. A sink as you walk in. Another sink in the bathroom. Has a refrigerator and microwave. The person who check us in is pretty nice and friendly. So as the morning person who check us out. Got a good morning greetings from him. The complimentary breakfast is delicious, fresh and home made (scrambled egg, red potato and bacon). Also has fruits, cereal, muffin, toast, boiled eggs, oatmeal and more. The lady in charge of the breakfast is also super nice. This place is one of the best place. Room, service and super nice and friendly people. Perfect score! Thank you so much. Nice property. Currently undergoing a remodel. Nice friendly helpful staff. Close to shopping and resturants in the Hilltop area of Redding. Stay here often on my trips to and from Oregon. Highly recommended. PEJ, Hilton Diamond Member
