Travelodge by Wyndham Great Barrington Berkshires

Literally the worst place I have ever stayed. Moldy showers, dirty sheets and torn towels was just the beginning. I would have been more comfortable sleeping on a hospital stretcher in the middle of the ER. The beds were awful and the nearby rooms screaming and slamming doors all night made for very little sleep. The rooms were dirty, had broken microwaves and lights with burnt out bulbs. Attempting to get anyone in the main office took an act of god and even with that there was very little assistance. We ultimately didn’t even finish our stay because it was so bad.

Positive: when i checked out Negative: beds are hard and uncomfortable, there was blood all underneath the toilet seat, entire hotel reeked of weed.

We had a great stay at the Travelodge by Wyndham Great Barrington. The owners and staff were super accommodating and really kind, especially since we were traveling with our 7-month-old. They made sure we had what we needed, which made the trip so much easier. The room was comfortable and the place has a nice charm to it. The pool area was very clean and well kept, and the location is excellent—restaurants within walking distance, a scenic path right outside, and just a short drive to hiking trails, wooded walks, and swimming spots. It’s not a luxury hotel, but the hospitality more than makes up for that (and honestly there weren’t many shortcomings at all). Perfect for anyone traveling on a budget and looking for a comfortable, welcoming place to stay. We’ll definitely be back next time

Clean, spacious rooms with all the basic necessities! Beds comfortable. A good value at a good price! Friendly, helpful staff. Great location.

UPDATE: In response to the reply from the hotel, yes I do have a good memory. When you experience an awful situation, the details are hard to forget. First of all, your explanation does not make sense. My review was based on the fact that I reserved a specific room well in advance, and then it was not available on the day I was to arrive. No one from the hotel notified me that my room was "no longer available". It had nothing to do with first floor or shower/tub accessibility. I paid for the queen suite, and you tried to give me a double queen at the last minute. That is unacceptable. If you had compensated by giving us two rooms, instead of leaving us with no place to stay, I would have left a glowing review. Original review: Major inconvenience! I reserved a queen suite well in advance.
