Although rated a 2 Star, I rated 5 stars because I found the owners and employees to be attentive and enthusiastic that we were there for four days. No bugs, clean sheets and bathroom,, pool was clean, and TV worked.
We visited my stepson for his birthday (he's in college in Gainesville) and spent 2 nights. The staff were all very pleasant. Rooms were close to awful though. The first room we were in the air conditioner had been leaking onto the carpet, obviously for quite some time judging by the smell of mold/mildew. They did change our room no problem. The next room the towels were ancient and extremely stained, the shower curtain and the bath mat were very, very stained. They also overkilled the air freshener before we got in there (assuming to cover any possible odors - which there weren't any once that wore off). The pillows are awful. The TV's are quite old and blurry. No alarm clock, no coffee pot, only 1 coat hanger, bath sink cracked. The gas station next door had very good coffee a
Positive: Cleanliness and quiet atmosphere, Negative: More towels and a coffee maker would be welcome.
This is the most trashy hotel/motel then they over charge 🙄 told me to pay 139.87 on a Wednesday night Thursday morning about 1 a.m.
Checked in through the little glass window. The guy seemed nice. Just business. The room was moldy smelling. AC was turned off when I got there. This is Florida, do not turn the AC off when the room is not in use. Turned it on and opened the door for a while. it did help a little. The sink didn't drain. The toilet flushed slow, hold the handle down. The tub had dirty sticker residue left from a non slip mat. Oddly the drain didn't back up. The bed and pillows were nice. The room was pretty clean. New tiles in the bathroom area. Appears they are trying to keep up with maintenance. Also appears to be a monthly stay for locals. Plenty of people with no cars. No alarm clock. Tv worked. The sink did drain in the morning. So I'm guessing it slows during high usage times. I wouldn't stay here aga
