Drury Inn & Suites Gainesville

I really enjoyed my stay at the Drury Inn & Suites in Gainesville. The overall vibe here is welcoming, calm, and genuinely positive — exactly what I look for when I’m traveling and working remotely. The staff has been consistently friendly and attentive, and I especially want to recognize Stephanie, the GM. She is always trying to help, solve anything that comes up, and make sure guests feel taken care of. That level of personal attention does not go unnoticed and is truly appreciated. For me, this location has become a comfortable co-working home base while I’m in the area. The environment feels joyful, smooth, and easy to settle into for both work and rest. I love Drury inn hotels, they’re my prefered place to stay when available. What other hotel offers brekky and dinner as well as free adult beverages. The pool and hot tub were great, fitness center was good (though not as good as the other Drurys Ive visited) and rooms were clean and mostly quiet.

We have stayed here twice in the past and loved everything about this hotel. So we had no hesitation about booking another stay. The hotel is conveniently located directly off the highway. Free parking is plentiful. The hotel grounds and rooms are very clean and neat. And who doesn't enjoy the free buffet-style breakfasts and evening meals? For those who enjoy drinking alcohol, there are three free drinks per adult guest, per night. The staff are courteous and mostly helpful. |But, this visit seems like the honeymoon with Drury is over. |Upon arrival, our room was quite cool with the thermostat set on 68°. We adjusted the thermostat on the wall, but the temperature of the room never rose. My husband asked the front desk employee about the thermostat. We were told that the hotel has "smart

My husband and I stayed here two nights to celebrate my birthday in the area. The staff are all very friendly and helpful - which is refreshing. They made up our room - which many hotels don’t do since COVID. They also offer free dinner with 3 free drinks (wine, etc) per person. We had pulled pork and macaroni and cheese while we were there. Beds were comfortable and the room was quiet. Nice stay!
