Santa Fe Palms RV Resort

Great location close to UF campus. Some sites close to road can be a little noisy and you might hear some airport noise but neither were that bad. Some of the nicest and cleanest bathhouses I’ve ever seen at an RV Park. Nice office area with coffee/tea and a good exercise area under cover. Safe and secure environment too.

Just got into town (Gainsville). I'm a full time traveler in my MBZ Sprinter Roadtrek. Needed to dump my tanks (30 gallon max) and called this place. Sounded friendly and thought she told me $5. Drove 14 miles to get there only to be told the price was $35. I'm sure i must have misunderstood over the phone, but never would have driven that far to pay $35! What the hell is going on in this world to even THINK of charging that crazy price to dump about 20 gallons and get some fresh water? I paid it since I was there but left SO PISSED that I did!! That's about what State Parks charge to stay with hookups! And, most likely, the state park is pretty and inviting. There was nothing inviting about this place except it was there if you absolutly, positively needed and place to stay in an emergenc

We staid a few days at Santa Fe in november to visit out son, who’s studying at UF in Gainsville. The sites are excellent and the restroomd are clean the hole day. Some nice services like the swimming pool and a gaming room with table footbal and table tennis. We had a pleasent stay.

Good location, nice little park. Quite expensive for what you get, at least it was for what we got. We paid over 100 a night and didn't get the restroom code, game room code, wifi code. In fact, when we arrived after hours, their was nothing for us. It just so happened a park host saw us and helped us figure out where we were even to go. Would not come back here. We didn't even get a confirmation email. Poorly ran it seems.

For the past two years, we’ve stayed at this resort whenever we visit our daughter at UF, and it has been incredibly convenient thanks to its close proximity to campus. We also appreciate that we can bring our dog. There are a few on-site residents who are happy to walk our dog when we’re out, which has been a huge help. The rates are very competitive, and the staff is awesome! — Chuck C
