La Quinta by Wyndham Gainesville

My mom was admitted to the ICU at HCA Gainesville location on 12/22 so we rushed down from Augusta, GA that same night without any hesitation or plans to stay anywhere. Normally we book ahead, but when we arrived at 3am on the 23rd, we went directly to the hospital, and around 5:45 am we arrived at the hotel. Despite the time and short notice, the staff at this location were extremely accommodating and welcoming and got us into a room immediately. We did have to extend our stay several times and they were so helpful in doing so. We ended up staying for an extra week, so we asked to upgrade to a larger room and again, no hesitation. We never felt like a burden, they accommodated us in every way possible and made sure we had everything we needed. This is by far the best place we've stayed. T

Stayed here for a quick overnight. Very easy access to I-75. Gas stations, restaurants, and the mall are very close by. The staff was nice, and the hotel (including the room) were clean. Overnight was quiet. The breakfast had a really nice assortment: eggs, waffles, sausage, bacon, fruit, yogurt, pastries/breads, and cereal. The hotel has a very nice gym. ||Only con we experienced was that the beds were a little (but not awful) soft, and they felt closer to a full rather than a true queen - we had reserved a room with two queen beds. ||Good stay. We would stay here again.

I enjoyed the stay. The location is clean, room spacious, in a great location and the staff were super friendly and accommodating. The front desk staff, Kimberly, was so welcoming and kind. I would definitely stay here again when I’m in town for my son’s track meet!

Positive: I thought room service was great and the rooms were nice. I stayed in a King non-smoking room and had no issues as far as bedding, tv, lights, fridge, microwave, and bathroom needs. Continental breakfast was great. Alternative milks would have been nice. Negative: Unfortunately the carpet in room 203 was extremely dirty. My feet were constantly getting black while walking barefoot and I ended up taking a wet towel and wiping it all over the carpet and it came up dirty. I told the front desk so they knew.

Location convenient and within walking distance of food and banks! Nice view and extremely clean rooms. The service was quick and readily available. FULL BREAKFAST haven’t seen that much food since best western. They may actually have a bit more options than them too. Huge gym with all working equipment and secure. Cute pond across the street if you need a stress relief would stay here a million times over and have recommended my friends to as well. La Quinta so far never seems to disappoint. This location is def worth the price
