I chose Hotel ELEO primarily for its excellent proximity to the University of Florida, and in that regard, the location was perfect. However, my stay was a mix of high-quality service and significant disappointment regarding the room itself. The Disappointments Misleading Room Description: The marketing photos showed wall-to-wall windows overlooking a beautiful pond. In reality, my room had two narrow windows that faced the garbage area. This was a major letdown as the "view" was one of the main reasons I booked this specific hotel. Cleanliness/Presentation: While the room was large, the bed sheets and covers were heavily wrinkled (not ironed), which unfortunately gave the impression that the bedding might not be fresh. Climate & Atmosphere: Being on the 2nd floor, there was a persisten

The rooms are spotless, the valet guys are super nice. Antwone at the front desk always makes our stay the best it can be. He is very knowledgeable, professional, accommodating, kind and just a great guy! Hotel Eleo is veey lucky to have him. He always goes above and beyond. We stay at least once a month due to my daughter needing medical care at shands and he always makes us smile!!

Writing this for my Mom: My husband recently had surgery at Shands. My daughter booked me at the Eleo due to its proximity to the hospital. It was convenient being so close. I could go back and forth with ease while not having to cross any busy roads (no roads really). The area is well lit at night and I felt safe walking it alone. The hotel staff was very professional and willing to help with any of my needs. The room was beautiful, clean and spacious. The staff was quick to help with any and all of my requests while being genuinely friendly. While I was not there for fun, I did appreciate the professional atmosphere and quiet/calmness of the surroundings.

Perhaps my expectations were too high, but for the price ($460 per night) I expected more from this hotel. The majority of the hotel's budget seems to have been spent on its location and exterior, which is beautiful. The interior meanwhile, felt decidedly cheaper. The hallways had a strong chemical odor and industrial lighting quality. My room was quiet, spacious and up-to-date, but the overall quality of the appointments felt most consistent with a new 3-star hotel. The windows were very small for the size of the room. The ceiling sheetrock looked like something out of a Eastern Bloc apartment from the 1960s - it was so poorly assembled it almost seemed to be a design choice, but it certainly did not add any premium feel. I was disappointed that the electric car charging was not c

⭐⭐⭐ I stayed at Hotel Eleo due to its close proximity to the hospital (slightly loud being near er) , and the location was incredibly convenient. The shuttle service was very helpful, the exterior of the hotel is beautiful, and the staff was warm and welcoming upon arrival. My room (630) was spacious, modern, and bright, with floor-to-ceiling windows and plenty of curtains for privacy and blackout. The décor and amenities were nice, including an espresso machine, two TVs, sound machine, hair dryer, and toiletries. I also appreciated the added security of key-only elevator access. However, while surface cleaning appeared good, detailed cleaning fell short. I found debris under the bed, what appeared to be a tobacco packet above the bed, stains on pillows/sheets, and some hair beneath the
