Travel Inn Bristol Near State Street

You get what you pay for. I stayed here out of necessity, it was close to where I needed to be, and it was the cheapest one in town. You're going to get cheap quality for cheap rates, but it has the basics. The staff is nice too and are clearly doing their best. The rooms can serve to be cleaner, but again, it was cheap for a reason!

NOTHING LIKE PICS UNLESS THOSE ARE 25YR OLD! Nastiest, least affordable option & they tell non-renters your room #! Did not appreciate that! No bathroom vent. The vent that was there was taped up. Bed spread had a quarter sized burn! For 80$ Hell No! Go ESA (which is further) & save $20 a night! It's noisey all night long. Plus they are likely to rip you off if you don't use a card. Somehow cash gets misplaced/Ever existed (guy running desk) & they don't know what your talking about? Stealing is what it is. No chair, fridge made boiling sounds all night, only 1 plug-in next to TV, trash everywhere outside, broken appliances fill halls & parking! Not to mention many broke down cars in lot. Bathroom ceiling is something else. Caulk or WHAT I thought was a bee nest next to the door. The floor

Just No. This is now the Travel Inn. Do not stay here. I don't care how cheap the price is. It's very dirty, smokey, even though we had a non smoking room. There were holes in the curtains. The front door didn't have the safety lock, it was broken. It looked as if someone had kicked the door in. There was a lot of commotion outside the rooms all night. And I mean all night from 9pm till 4:30am when we just decided to leave. Thank God for the substandard A/C that drowned out some of the noise. The bathroom ceiling looked like it was ready to fall in. I dont think I ever took a shower and I didn't feel clean when I got out. We took an Uber out for dinner, and the uber driver said that was the "drug capital of Bristol".

It's a decent place to stay. It's definitely a great deal & the staff & owners are nice people. I would recommend it.
