Delta Hotels Bristol

For a Marriott property, this stay was a major let down. It felt less like a Marriot and more like Spirit Airlines. The fact that a basic room doesn’t include a microwave is actually insane. Like, I didn't realize a microwave was such a premium amenity, that we needed to upgrade our room for it? Make it make sense. The $75 pet fee is steep. The room temperature situation was also frustrating. The AC could only be set as low as 68 degrees, and the unit struggled with that. You can't cast from your phone to the TV, so I just watched things on my phone. The bathroom was dated and underwhelming. And, breakfast was not included. If I have to spend money on breakfast, it surely isn't going to be a hotel breakfast 🙄 I had to add this in, because it made us laugh. The bar soap was hallowed out!

Really liked the Delta Bristol! Team on the front desk were charming a lovely welcome. We had a room overlooking the river and park on a high floor so great view. Very newly done room, great Marriott bed and two comfy armchairs. Great shower. We had lounge access and it was a good lounge really nice snacks at happy hour and a good wine selection. Great location next to the mall and all the restaurants it has. Good gym which I had to myself most of the time! Overall a really nice stay.

Positive: "" Negative: Yes the housekeeping knocked on our door each of the two mornings between 9-9:30am absolutely ridiculous. On our day of checkout housekeeping mngt shld be keeping housekeepers current with who has/has NOT checked out yet so housekpng is NOT waking ppl up

The check-in was nice the lady that checked me in was very polite and friendly. If she had a name tag it would been nice so that way she could get recognition. The room was nice clean and very relaxing. They do have a guest laundry facilities located acted only on the 5th floor. but it’s very limited for this place 2 washers 2 dryers. very I mean very dated Whirlpools. One dryer was broke. I had no clue till my clothes got checked and still soaking wet. Tried breakfast really not the greatest but simple is the best most places. The young lady again no name tag not even a friendly gesture of good morning. Asked if I wanted a menu I did acknowledged her “yes, Please”. No sooner did she give me a menu did she respond do you know what you want or do you need to look at the menu. So I rushed a

Pleasant surprise. Amazing customer service. Extremely professional and front desk check-in went above and beyond in every way. Just as I was giving up on Marriott…….Grateful to have come across this property. Great value. Felt like the missed SPG days!
