Motel 6 Bristol, VA

Excellent stay after a long drive. When I arrived, I noticed signage stating no truck or RV/trailer parking. I tow a 16-foot camper with my Subaru Outback XT, so I parked briefly and checked with the front desk since I already had a reservation. Sherri at the front desk was wonderful — friendly, calm, and genuinely helpful. She explained that while camper parking isn’t allowed in the main lot due to space constraints, there is an empty lot one street over where guests occasionally park trucks or campers. The lot is visible to hotel cameras, and local law enforcement is aware of its use. After a long drive, that flexibility and kindness meant a lot. Easy access from interstate. Excellent staff at check in and check out. My dog was welcomed. Room was really good and clean. Well lit parking lot and clean grounds. This motel 6 is excellent and the best one I ever stayed in and is nothing like the motel 6's of the past. This motel 6 should be the model for the motel 6 chain. Would return if in the area again.

This is my second stay here, it’s apparently where I sleep over when bringing rescue pups home. Both times the room has been clean, the staff friendly, and the location couldn’t be more convenient with groceries and restaurants all here yet it’s nice and quiet. Highly recommended!

The hotel was neat and well kept. The staff was courteous and professional. The room was well prepared for occupancy. Overall, it was a pleasant stay. It would be nice if the hotel would offer free cucumber water. cookies, and popcorn to its guests in the evening.
