TownHouse Suites-An Extended Stay Hotel

Okay, how do I do this? I gave 5 stars all around for my experience, This place was residence for three months during a Summer . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . Back in 1984. Family was on long-term training for a company known as Digital Equipment Corp. The company was a close second behind IBM. This place was, Lexington Hotel Suites and Inn. Let me tell you: Lexington was a phenomenal place. I stayed inside the property. Why not? It was beautiful. You see a filled-in pool. It was the true shape surrounded by 3 gardens and lavish hardscapes. One was desert, another tropical, the third, Tuscan. Lexington was rustic Spaniard/Italianate architecture. We were really excited to come to stay at the Lexington because they were supposed to be really great, at least according to their website. We had even planned on staying in the one in Houston while we built our house. Those plans changed when we saw the place. The first room we got was a smoking room (even though we asked for a non-smoking room). It was filthy. There were cigarette burns in the carpet and something black all over the fridge. We wanted to go to a different hotel but they said that since we were in the room we would be charged, even though we basically walked in and walked out. They did move us to a non smoking room. It still had burns in the carpet but at least it did not smell like stale cigarettes. There were holes in the bedspread and the carpet was dirty. I wouldn't le

The young guy in the office is very rude.. They change prices on you. The cleaning ladies are slow and do not clean the rooms. I stayed here for 2 months and I had to clean our room and ask for sheets. I asked for an extra little towel so I could clean the kitchen and they refused to give me one. The only thing good about this place is the kitchen. Hoes and drug dealers everywhere. Had to deal with gunshots every night. People always fighting outside with blood trails every where. $300 for a week wasnt a bad deal but it's too much going on at this hotel.

This place is alright. I've seen worse. But the room do have small kitchens in them and our mattress seems clean and is actually very comfortable. I think they are remodeling now so hopefully it only gets better. There is a 2 washer and 2 dryer laundry room on site but I was disappointed that the pool isn't open. It's just covered in dirt. It's in a convenient location. A krogers is right down the road and plenty of fast food restaurants and convenience stores nearby. The area isn't the greatest but this is Dallas after all

I stayed there for 6 months. Killed 5 mouses. Lots of roaches. Very bad neighborhood. Its 300 for a 2 bed. It takes a long time to fix anything. We never got a working heater when we were there during winter.
