The Ritz-Carlton, Dallas

While my stay had a few hiccups, it was the recovery that really made this stay shine. The hotel’s management took care of all issues immediately. Housekeeping was the team that really shined. The housekeeping team made me feel true “Ritz Magic”, which was the first time I felt that I had personalized service at any hotel in a very long time. I try to be a relatively low maintenance hotel guest and frequently don’t look like a flashy, big-spender type, so at a lot of hotels I tend to be overlooked and often ignored. Not here. The housecleaning team saw that I had a book and left me a bookmark. They saw I had sunglasses and left me a cleaning wipe. The Ritz-Carlton, Dallas is a first-class facility all the way around. The property is absolutely beautiful. Everything is spotless, well maintained, and done with real attention to detail. From the lobby to the dining areas, it just feels high-end the second you walk in. The atmosphere is upscale. You can tell they take pride in the place. Truly one of the nicest facilities in Dallas.

This is a true Ritz Carlton. We left a Ritz in Turks and Caicos to be stopped in Dallas with no luggage due to weather. We immediately booked the Club Lounge suite at the Ritz Dallas in 19 degree weather. We walked in to this stunning Art Deco hotel to the most loving and hospitable staff we’ve encountered. Davide Paduano and Sarah Lansford made this stay so special…It’s difficult to describe the warmth and hospitality they shared with us. We were sent up complimentary warm herbal tea after our arrival. The room service was delicious. The club lounge is absolutely beyond fantastic. The hotel sent us up all the amenities we needed for a comfortable stay (without even asking us). When we arrived on Saturday night, the hotel lobby was like a nightclub. And with a nightclub setting, it takes away from the luxurious feeling of the place. Way too many people that were not actual guests of the hotel. So, it took away from the ambiance. The room itself was good but not great. I liked the foyer area and the spaciousness. The bar cocktails were a nice touch. The service was excellent from the front desk to the doormen and valet. The room service dinner we had was also good
