TownePlace Suites by Marriott Salt Lake City Layton

Absolutely the best service and rooms we have stayed in for quite some time, we travel A LOT!! We were able to book last minute the week of our visit with zero issues. I am still impressed by the price for our two room suite! Everything was clean and tidy and there was everything we needed. Laundry room, fitness center, breakfast, we utilized them all!! The staff was amazing and so helpful with directions to shopping centers and filling breakfast bags, even signing me up for their rewards program!! The only downfall was the kids really wanted to swim (February) and the indoor pool they share with a neighbor hotel was off limits because of covid. Clearly no fault of their own. There is a small outdoor pool though for summer. Will definitely be staying with Marriot for our future travel!!

I stayed in a 2-bedroom suite while attending a conference here recently. The service and room were absolutely stellar! Quick check-in with amazing desk staff and a wonderfully clean and quiet room. There was plenty of space to do any work I needed, and the couch was great to kick my feet up after a long day attending meetings. I couldn't recommend this hotel enough to anyone hoping for a painless stay in Layton.

The front desk manager, Leah is literally one of the sweetest people I’ve ever met. Everyone is super helpful and kind answered all my questions with patience and overall made my stay really great. The night manager Kathy is also super sweet and her nails are always on point. It’s a really good location. It’s a seven minute walk to target and two minute walk to Barnes & Noble‘s has In-N-Out right down the road and a couple dozen other good places to eat plus it has a free hot chocolate bar, which is always great. The free breakfast is a free breakfast and that’s all I care about. The rooms are clean and housekeeping is very punctual. Smoke detectors in the rooms are a little bit sensitive, but better than then not working at all. Overall, really good place to stay would recommend.

Ok, we needed a place with two bedrooms, and Townplace is great for that. We had the two rooms and the family room, and a full fridge, which were the requirements for thus stay. So that was great ||But, the stay could have been better. Breakfast was a bit of a disappointment, even compared to other Townplaces I have stayed out. Room was very small and only 3 tables. Both days there were always people standing around looking for a place to sit. They need to make more space.||One morning..no waffles. Not sure why. And the food ran out (to be honest, a large group of preteen boys for a family reunion were there at the same time we were, and they cleaned out the bacon and eggs!!). The staff were so helpful during my stay! They kindly answered the many questions I had with not being familiar with the area. My room was comfortable. I'll definitely be staying again!
