Best Western Plus Layton Park Hotel

I can’t say enough good things about this hotel! The room was clean. The staff were friendly and helpful. The pool was the perfect temp. The breakfast had an incredible variety. There is a small shop for toiletries and snacks where the prices were very reasonable. There is fresh coffee, hot cocoa, and tea available in the lobby 24/7. They also have a filtered water machine available so we were able to fill our water bottles before leaving each day. The hallways smell AMAZING! My only complaint (which didn’t impact our stay in a negative way) is that the pool decking is very slick tile so you just need to be extra cautious when walking with wet feet. Overall, I HIGHLY recommend this hotel and will without a doubt book it everytime we visit Utah.

This hotel exceeded our expectations. The breakfast was top notch... variety, stocked, and clean! The pool area and fitness center were kept clean and everything was working. The room was clean, spacious and comfortable. Would choose to stay here again if in the area.

We checked out today. ||Everything was average/ok until yesterday morning. 6am, I go to their guest laundry to do a single load of laundry. First off, it's coin operated like it's 1990. Then, I put in coins and they won't go in. I head to the front desk and a woman tells me that means the machine is empty.||While she did "look" in the back for any extras, she came up empty.||Told me she was sorry and that the machine is filled by a vendor.||Luckily I had a rental car. Luckily the Walgreens nearby opened at 6am. It was freezing outside but I took another 30min to go get laundry supplies paying $12 vs the $4 I would have paid at the coin machine. Ridiculous they don't keep extra supplies at the front desk or worst case at the sundries station. Vending machine on our floor was out of service

Positive: Location. Close to the freeway. Kind staff. We asked for new pillows they gave us new pillows. Negative: The king bed had 4 pillows. Each one was hard and tall. Hard to sleep with. The front desk gave us two new pillows. Mine was ok. My wife’s not so much.

This is a very good hotel! Price was reasonable for the hotel class. Clean! Even the stairwells were spotless. The room, bath and bed all, so clean! Not skimpy on the extras. Kuerig, decent coffee, 6 pods for a two queen room, and it sparkles! I’ve maker? Sparkles! The room carpet was clean as well. Hotel Manager is doing a great job! You deserve both a bonus and recognition! It’s convenient off the freeway and location was surprisingly quiet. .
