I rented my room through hotels.com and they sent an incorrect checkout date to the property. I've never had that happen - but I guess there is a first for everything. That wasn't the issue or the reason for the 1 star review. My flight got in around 11:00pm, I was traveling with my 9 year old daughter and we were exhausted. When I got into the room the floor was dirty and covered in starnds of hair. There was hair all over the sink and sheets. It was disgusting, but I had a funeral to attend the next morning and it was late, so I used a towels to clean the floor and counters, and my daughter and I covered the bed with towels and slept in our clothes. The next morning I let the front counter know about the room and ask them to clean it thoroughly. They did. The day after the funeral I w
This hotel has been refurbished in the past year and honestly appears to be and has been rated highly on many travel sites, including this one. However, our experience was not good. ||First and foremost if you get room 408 turn around and request a different room or at least don't sleep on the bed closest to the window. It's crap. It's like 2 inches in size compared to the other pillow top. ||Second.... Bring your own pillows as these are like inflatables with holes in them as they deflate to nothing when you lay on them. Literally flatter than a pancake and pretty much like laying on a sheet of newspaper. My husband and I had the worst night of sleep while our daughter slept like a princess. See pics in mattress size differences. Our mattress also felt like the springs were warn out as e
Dear Holiday Inn Express, I am writing to formally express my extreme dissatisfaction and concern regarding the conditions I encountered at the hotel last night. There were significant issues with the billing, including incorrect payment records for two nights. Additionally, the front desk manager checked me into a room without my knowledge or consent, and subsequently changed my room. The room I was assigned was in an appalling state of cleanliness and hygiene. It was severely unclean, with beds that were visibly unwashed, crusty and stained towels, and what appeared to be huge blood stain on the mattress. I also discovered old dirt and debris on the floor. The overall condition of the room was not only unacceptable but also posed a serious health and safety risk. I am deeply alarmed b
I was really happy in my room. The blackout curtains are fantastic. There's so many pillows! The beds are a little bouncier than what I use at home, but still comfortable. The whole room shakes when people walk around in other rooms, though! I barely slept because the people above me went to bed after 1am and the people in my hallway were up early. But I was able to get a nap thanks to the blackout curtains and late checkout. The room looks clean, but upon examination it's clear they gave set things they clean and they just don't do other things. The mirror was dirty, there was a wrapper on the floor by the top of the bed. The phone looked pretty rough. But you could tell other surfaces had been cleaned and the bed seemed fresh. The breakfast selection is expansive. There's pancakes, s
Great place to stay! Everyone working there was extra nice and accommodating! The hotel was beautiful and clean. The breakfast was delicious. We liked the choice in omelets today. The handicapped tub needs attention!! It is too slippery. We suggest bath mats or tub grips. This would make that tub safer! My husband who just had surgery had to sit for his shower and then almost fell for two showers…one trying to stand in shower from the seat and once when he tried to sit after standing. *The weight room needs some attention!! It really needs one more treadmill and like a mat and some weight balls and resistance bands. When you go with a friend, there isn’t enough to do. There were 3 machines and only 1 was working with the tracking of miles and resistence.
