Timberlake Motel

Room was clean with very comfortable bedding and there is a small frig and microwave. The staff was friendly and efficient, and they helped me with schedule changes. The location, while on busy Rt 460, was surprisingly quiet. I had left a phone charger and it was promptly returned. I would go out for breakfast though.

I’m giving this stay 3 stars because our room had a smoke odor to it. I know smoking is not allowed but at some point in the past it likely was and is now emanating from the walls. The room was otherwise clean and comfortable. The side entrance to the building does not have a lock on it so anybody can walk in at any time. We were a late night arrival on a very busy weekend/likely fully booked. Upon arriving the only parking spot was next to a vehicle that had a couple guys sitting in it drinking beer. One of them got out and urinated on someone’s trailer while we were getting our stuff out of the car. We let the front desk know and about an hour later the guys were gone. The staff were friendly. It is an older motel but for the price was a decent place to stay aside from the above comments

Check in was simple and friendly. The room and facility were not fancy but they were clean and provided us everything we needed. We had to leave very early the next day but they still had coffee and told us we could go ahead and get some breakfast any way.

A fantastic experience! Not only were the room clean and comfortable, but the service was incredible. The worker made us homemade scrambled eggs even though we can in at the last second for breakfast. He was a wonderful start to our morning in Virginia.

Really strange motel. There are video cammeras right above each room - right over the door way. A camera for each room. Very suspicious. Must have a lot of bad activity around there if they have to have cameras above each room. They also kept my $50 deposit when the room was left in excellent condition. I only used one bed, didn’t even shower or use any of the towels, no trash at all, barely even touched anything but the bed
