Comfort Inn & Suites Lynchburg Airport - University Area

Nice hotel. Clean! It needs a remodel. Panel paper is peeling, big crack in the drywall. Ceiling in ice area on floor 2 not finished. My biggest thing was the refrigerator in my room and others spoke on it also. It sucks! Barely keep things cool, not cold. I had to take my ice packs for my lunch downstairs and they kept them in a freezer over night and I got them from them every morning. Staff was excellent. Rooms were comfortable.

I have stayed at this hotel two times this year. It is a very nice and clean facility. The first time I stayed I had no problems. My stay this month was for four days and three nights. House cleaning was a little lacks this time. When they made the bed, the pillows were barely straightened up and they did not pick up the used washcloths I had in the corner of the shower. Other than a couple issues with house cleaning my stay was very nice.

My son is a student at a local university. This made the 5th hotel I have stayed at in Lynchburg over the past year. I will not look any further!! We checked in and was greeted by a friendly staff. Once in the room, I did my normal cleanliness inspection; this hotel passed with flying colors. We left to have dinner and when we arrived, we were welcomed back. I had never experienced such hospitality in a local hotel. Our bathroom had room to move around in, and the shower had good water pressure. The beds were comfortable with plenty of pillows. My only complaint is that we prefer to sleep cool. the down blanket on the bed was too warming for our liking. The next morning, we tried the breakfast. Good service, friendly people, amazingly comfortable beds and rooms. Really clean and quiet. Great breakfast, too. Best biscuits I have ever had in a hotel. They had good gluten-free options for my husband who must eat gluten-free for medical reasons.

Staff were extremely friendly and helpful. The rooms were much cleaner and equally as nice as another well known hotel that we have used on our travels. I would highly recommend this hotel, based solely on the cleanliness of our room since this is important to me, however the comfort of the rooms and the other amenities were also just as important.
