The Carriage House Inn

My husband and I made a last-minute itinerary change and we ended up looking for accommodations near Harper’s Ferry, WV and fortunately ended up finding the Carriage House Inn Bed & Breakfast. Donn and Marie were our incredible hosts and they maintain a fabulous authentic historic residence. Our room was spacious, comfortable, clean. We had the most amazing hot tub/jacuzzi in our room and a lovely little screened porch. When we arrived, Marie greeted us by giving us a short history of the house. The common rooms are so incredibly well decorated for the period. On the day we arrived we were greeted with homemade brownies with caramel icing. The breakfast is first rate. Donn made the most incredible crustless quiche and pumpkin walnut muffins! Yum! The Carriage Inn is within walking

Driving to New England from Florida, took a detour to Lynchburg to visit an old college buddy. Looked for a place close to downtown and found this reasonably priced inn to stay for a night. The inn is a beautifully restored property with amazing antique furnishings. The booking process was very easy and the king sized bed was very comfortable. We very much enjoyed our stay.

Beautiful bed and breakfast on a beautiful piece of property! We stayed in One of These Night, gorgeous king bed, VERY comfortable. Ruth was so friendly and informative and we also met Henley the pup!! He made our stay even more enjoyable! We had all the accommodations we needed and then some, very very comfortable, and historic, place to stay! We have family in the area and will definitely be booking to stay again the next time we’re in town!

We were in town for a wedding and only got to stay here for 2 days, but wish we could have stayed longer! Gorgeous home, most amazing bed and great hosts…including their precious pup❤️ Very quiet and peaceful historic neighborhood and close to downtown. Enjoyed sitting on the beautiful porch. Keurig, large tv and very cold fridge in room. And again the bed was the best! Highly recommend staying here.

Loved Our stay! Our son's band was performing at the Trading Post Music Hall, so we decided to make the trip down from Leesburg to catch the show. We found the Carriage House Inn on the Internet and we must say the pictures don't do it justice. The house is lovely and beautifully maintained. Our suite was named "Peaceful Easy Feeling", which is a perfect description. Cookie cutter hotels cannot compete. Ken & Svetlana Leesburg, VA
