Thunderbird Motel

Definitely nothing special, but it’s very close to where I needed to be. The dates room had a fridge and microwave, hot water, and was pretty quiet at night. I felt safe. The dark colored sheets and towels somehow make me suspicious but it it’s better than dingy white. ||The front desk is not manned late at night nor in the am, and they apparently do not check their messages, but I’d stay there again because of the location. I like the sign.

As of early August 2024 I can attest that this is a great hotel. It is an older building in terms of electric outlets but the rooms are extremely comfy. One of the best showers I've had in a hotel (the heat can vary but the pressure is solid.) Far enough from the highway you'll never hear it.

Amazing service, the lady at the front desk is very nice. It is next to a few restuarants and close to a grocery store. From what I can remember the rooms were well kept and clean. Also the rooms are very spacious. Definitley the best priced motel for what you get in the area.

When you drive up to this hotel, you may wonder what's going on here. The owners are in the process of turning this into a darned nice place, so ignore the outside and take a look at the newly renovated rooms. This is the cleanest hotel we've been in on a long road trip—spotless, and the linens, beds, furniture, refrigerator, microwave, and dressing room fixtures were all brand new. When the TV didn't work, the two children of the owners brought us a new one, programmed it for us, and explained that their parents were in the process of renovating the whole place. We had a comfortable, quiet two nights here. Don't be turned off by the exterior--it's way better than it looks.

O stars...rooms have hard drug dealings constantly. Visiting a friend I noticed three bedbugs, and have heard they are infested with them. Kids hang around everywhere. Cho-mos abound. Just a bad choice of stay in my opinion and from what I've seen. No slander if it's true...right?
