Three Seasons Resort

Upon arrival for our 3 night vacation, I was told my third night we had to be moved to a different room because there was a an event coming up and our room was booked- even though I already booked it. I was not happy. I came there with my 87 yr old mother. They offered a discount for the inconvenience. The view was spectacular. The loud entertainment was unexpected our first night. I was looking for a quieter location. However, our " new" room on the 3rd night was lovely and closer to the ocean. They did help move our bags. Air conditioner worked well in the new room. Nice touch having the outdoor bar available. Grounds lovely. Great location and staff. We stayed two nights. Our room however was covered in mold. It was on all the chairs, curtains, walls, lamp shade, and bathroom. Beds were clean and we were only there to sleep so we did not notice till the last day.

Location is great with a small private beach. Bar and food was good overlooking water. The Inn itself needs higher standards for cleanliness and upkeep. The rooms are large, with tiny bathroom. As soon as you open the door the sink for the bathroom is there, leaving little privacy. The bathrooms are outdated, rusty and dirty. We found multiple hairs in the shower. The wall behind toilet was rusty, dirty and stained yellow. The toilet seat was missing ceramic and stained yellow. The rooms overlook the grounds where people hang out by the fire drinking and playing music until 3am. The next day the grounds have beer cans and remnants of food scattered around. For 500.00 a night-we paid for the view. Not worth it for our family.

The room was fine, with an overwhelming cleaning solution smell. I requested and was granted late checkout out for noon. When I came back to the room after a soccer game, all of our protein bars, fruit, drinks and leftovers that we planned to eat for lunch had been thrown away. The woman at the front desk said I should be happy they didn’t charge for late checkout and offered a $20 refund for at least $40 of food. If they had just said no to the late checkout I would have checkout— very disappointing end to the trip.

Takeaways: 1. Bathroom is small and the tub drains very slowly—expect water to pool significantly during showers. 2. No one checks who’s actually a guest; beach access seems open to anyone. 3. Each room is assigned one parking spot, but if someone parks in yours, staff just says, “Oh well, we can’t tow them—just park somewhere else.” So basically, parking is a free-for-all. 4. This place is overhyped as a vacation destination. The beach is underwhelming—full of seaweed, rocks, and broken shells. 5. On a positive note, the Ocean House Restaurant on-site is pricey but serves good food, and the ocean view enhances the experience.
