Soundings was great! It was the most quiet place we’ve ever stayed. The place was immaculate! Small but adorable with fabulous ocean views from every window. Sunrise from living room …sunset from bedroom! The property was well taken care of. Grounds were lovely, directly on the beach, great to walk with your coffee every morning. The bed was quite comfortable. Kitchen has full size fridge and microwave. No stove which concerned us as we were staying for the week and don’t eat out often…..not an issue. They have a double hot plate, griddles, microwave and plenty of pots and pans so wasn’t an issue at all. We were able to make whatever we wanted. It is pretty handy to everything. The resort was well-kept, the staff was friendly, and of course, the view was fantastic. My one concern was this particular unit where dishes were stored above the refrigerator. As my guest and I are both height-challenged they were difficult to access. I had to use the bellman's cart to reach! The unit should come equipped with a step stool! Also, the kitchen supplies were in the back of the bedroom closet. Strange place to keep the dish soap! That aside, it was a pleasant stay.

We have traded into this resort three times. It is the best of the four we've visited over the years. The living room and master bedroom overlook the beach and ocean. Two miles from Route 28 where many of the local businesses are located. Several museums, local theaters, beaches, family attractions, shops, restaurants, and thrift stores nearby. Less options in late fall and winter, but we found plenty to visit in early December (Christmaas concert @ the Church of the Transfiguration, Gardens Aglow Christmas Light Show in Sandwich, She Loves Me musical at the Cape Rep Theater in Brewster). Very low RCI points needed for an exchange. Highly recommend!

Soundings Seaside resort is a wonderful place to stay in mid-Cape. We have come here offseason several years now. The receptionists are always friendly, gracious, willing to help. We stayed in a 2 bedroom in Nantucket building, 2nd floor. Wonderful ocean views. Condo was equipped with what we needed. The grounds are always well maintained with nightly fire pit. There is an indoor pool and hot tub but we did not use this time around. New addition to the resort is a specialty coffee maker available each morning in lobby. It's a nice treat to have a latte or cappuccino or other specialty coffee. Off-season you do need to check what is open year round but as we are 'regular' off-season visitors we do not have an issue finding restaurants or places to visit. Will definitely be back in

I enjoyed the location and the room was comfortable. Some exceptions were a piece of molding missing off of the headboard and a tear on one of the chairs. I was on a bottom floor. I thought I was getting a "look out the window" ocean view, but what I got was a view of the fenced-in outdoor swimming pool with the ocean behind it. I am so glad I didn't chose this resort in the summer with that pool filled with screaming kids. Otherwise my stay was pleasant and the staff were very nice. When you book, be sure what view, if any, you are getting.
