Pelham House Resort

We had a wonderful stay at the Pelham House in Dennis, MA. The front desk staff was amazing from the moment we arrived. The young gentleman who checked us in was so polite, and we had a great conversation. He even upgraded our room, which has never happened to me before, so that was such a special surprise. Our room had a beautiful ocean view, which made the stay even more memorable. Dinner was fantastic — I had the scallops and my husband had the lobster ravioli, and both were absolutely amazing. All of the waitstaff and bartenders were very friendly and helpful, which really added to the great experience. Our reservations were at 7pm and we were not sitted till 7:30. Nice atmosphere and the services was great. However, I was dissapointed in the food. I had the grilled sirloin steak. The steak was cooked to perfection, but the vegetables on the plate were a miss. Creamed spinich wasn't creamy and just stuck under everything else. Potatoes were horrible and carrots and summer squash were non descript. I love creme brulee but shouldn't have ordered pumpkin creme brulee. Why do restaurants not just serve a classic creme brulee??? The best was my pear martini with rocks on the side. That kept me happy.

What a wonderful resort. The location is excellent, the grounds are beautiful, the restaurants are fantastic, and the staff is courteous and helpful. My family will certainly be back.

Pelham House Resort is an exceptional wedding weekend venue and accommodations destination. Hosting multiple events onsite felt seamless thanks to the incredible team and thoughtful flow of the property. Katie was amazing to work with throughout the entire process and truly felt like a partner, which is exactly what planners hope to find in a venue relationship. Communication was clear and collaborative, and the staff consistently showed up with professionalism and warmth across the full weekend. Had a wonderful lunch/brunch with friends at the Rooftop Restaurant at the Pelham! Our server was friendly and helpful. The food is fantastic, every meal we have had there has been great. Prices are reasonable, they have a nice beverage and wine selection as well. Not pictured in the photos were a burger and fries and a huge salad with grilled chicken. Overall, a great experience!
