The Westin Huntsville

I always choose Marriott properties when traveling for one main reason; consistent quality across the board. This Marriott property lived up to that standard, not just in the hotel, but in the dining room as well. My husband and I were visiting family, and had an early breakfast in their dining room every morning. Our server Ana; was so friendly , professional and accommodating, that I felt compelled to write this review. What was most compelling, was the hospitality she conveyed to her guests was genuine, not rehearsed. Notice I said “guests”? That speaks volumes! The food was fine, nothing special. Typical breakfast buffet food is what we opted for. What left a lasting impression was our service experience. The location of the property is worth mentioning as well. It was within walking

The receptionist was lazy as fawk, you can tell when someone enjoys their job simply because they always have the opportunity to put forth minimal effort, we booked online and theres no way to apply a military discount, well turns out we have to mention it to the receptionist before we pay upon arrival. Long story short her excuse for not wanting to do it was “uhh you have to do it when you make your reservation” i guess she thought since we were black she could use her stereotypical judgement to assume we don’t know how hotels work. This place is wildly located in brigdestreet and have less than 4 stars….she’s probably the reason.

The hotel was super nice! The biggest two things that stood out was first the customer service was u matched!! As soon as you walk in the door your greeted with a smiling face and everyone was very accommodating and happy to help or guide in anyway possible! Number two the smell was absolutely by far the best! The entire hotel smelled so good!! The rooms were very nice and cleaned. The beds were super comfy! And the indoor/outdoor pool/hot tub was a plus for the kids! Will definitely be back again!

We just visited for the third time this year over the weekend and this trip was disappointing. While we reserved the same room type, with a king bed, we were assigned a much smaller room this time that did not have a couch (floor 6 vs floors 2 or 3). The shower was also different and had basically no water pressure. It was disappointing to reserve the same type of room and find that there was such a difference in size and space. Additionally, this room had a connecting door and while the door obviously remained closed, we could hear everything that went on in that room next door which was surprising.

We recently stayed at The Westin Huntsville and had a mixed experience. The room itself was clean and comfortable, which we appreciated. However, we had an issue with the TV not working. It took three separate calls to the front desk before someone was finally sent up to check it. We were then told the TV could not be replaced and were offered a different room. Unfortunately, the situation became more frustrating from there. After agreeing to move rooms, we were unable to access the new room because the manager, Cam, was not available to authorize it. I ended up sitting in the hallway for about 45 minutes while my husband waited downstairs at the front desk. When the manager returned, he did not acknowledge my husband for nearly ten minutes and only addressed him after my husband began e
