Holiday Inn Research Park

The room was great! Beds were comfy and bathroom had Dove products for the bath and sink! Toilet sits low to the ground but worked. We could hear everyone’s conversation walking down the hall and that was a little annoying. We were excited about the free breakfast to only be disappointed at the taste and quality. There were barely any eggs. No bacon. Fried potatoes were bland, no seasoning. Biscuit was hard and French toast sticks were not edible.

I stayed at this location from Thursday November 27, 2025 until Sunday November 30, 2025 and service was great! Clean, friendly and accommodating. I got an early check in from a long drive without any questions or excuses. Whatever I needed I was supplied with a smile. It was convenient to a lot of stores and eating places. Go check them out if you are in Huntsville Alabama!!!!!

I don't know how people are rating this place as clean. There are multiple stains on our carpet, the tub is all chipped, paint is chipped everywhere, there is mold growing in the bathroom where the wallpaper is peeling (presumably to cover said mold) and mold in the indoor pool area and other areas very clearly worn. I don't usually write reviews, but the other reviews that say this place is clean are not accurate. I would not have stayed here had I know the condition of this hotel. Gross gross gross.

No complimentary breakfast was very disappointing for my sons and I. Please be more clear at check-in… I was told the hours for breakfast are 7 to 10. That sounds like every other hotel that I stay in with complimentary breakfast. Now I have to travel all the way back to Kansas City and pay extra for breakfast for my sons and I. Where’s your southern hospitality?

The hotel is fine but why lie to people about conplimentary breakfast and charge 30 dollars per person. It's not about the money it's about lying to people who want to eat breakfast without leaving the hotel. There is not where in the online registration where you can find the "breakfast package " with the reservation
