The Westin Dallas Park Central

Positive: The staff was polite, professional, and friendly. The hotel, however, was awful. We woke up itching all over on top of the disappointment in the state of our room. Negative: The hotel is outdated and dirty. The couch in my room was very stained, towels mismatched, lamps mismatched, curtain difficult to operate, missing covers on bathroom ceiling, etc. It did not feel worth my money at all. The lobby also had stained chairs.

Great place. Staff was very friendly - room was comfortable so the sleep was nice. The only thing that was questionable were the breakfast eggs, they were very soup like. For a $27 breakfast buffet plate, I figured they would’ve used more than the generic soupy egg mix you find at lower end hotels. But, other than that, great stay!

I stayed at The Westin Dallas Park Central & I expected it to be a nice place & good service. I was not impressed with the room, it didn’t look clean, around the toilet, the tub was dirty maybe built up dirt, looked as it had not been cleaned, I saw long hairs in the sink area. The pillows are not comfortable & the bed looked unmade & the room had a very strong smell maybe detergent. The second day, whoever came in to clean didn’t do a good job at it. The bed sheets looked like the maid got on the bed & left debris, the sheets were not tucked in properly & wrinkled. The phone didn’t work & room service to ask for a list of stations & was told someone would be coming but no one showed. Overall it was a bad experience & I would not recommend staying here. Excellent stay at The Westin Dallas Park Central! The service was outstanding from start to finish, with immediate responses to any request we had. Breakfast was a highlight—fresh omelets made to order and a great overall selection. The restaurant downstairs is very good and made dining easy and enjoyable during our stay. The only small downside is that the shop downstairs closes at 10 PM, so there are no drinks or snacks available after that time. That said, the restaurant being open until 11 PM definitely helps. Parking in the garage is over $20, but the convenience makes it worth it. Being able to use the hotel room key to easily get in and out of the garage was a big plus. Overall, a very comfortable stay with great service and amenities. I would absolutely stay here again.

I have stayed at this Westin several times when in Dallas, but my most recent stay definitely left a terrible taste in my mouth. While I was away from my room (with the do not disturb sign in place) housekeeping took it upon themselves to enter my room anyway and tampered with/stole items from me. Upon my return I immediately noticed that my room was in disarray and that my DND sign was now on the inside of my door. I also noticed that one of my very expensive perfumes had been sprayed that I had not previously sprayed prior to leaving. I went to the desk instantly and notified the manager on duty who was somewhat helpful and told me that she would get back with me shortly as she was the only one at the desk at the time and could not step away.
