The Westin Charlotte

I had such a great stay here! The bed was incredibly comfy and I loved the long couch. Good water pressure in the bathroom too. Celeste and Morgan at breakfast were absolutely amazing. I’d come back just for them! The gym was also clean, spacious, and had some good variety!

A very large typical Westin — recently been fully refurbished so four stars. Across the street from the convention center, so feels a bit impersonal with the majority of guests wearing name badges ;-)||Room are clean, but compact. Bathrooms are clean, but also very compact. Housekeeping is very good. Check-in has generally been smooth. ||Would be nice if they put a little convenience store/marketplace in the hotel since there really is nothing around it. Just typical downtown business district restaurants though there is a Whole Foods two blocks down.

Absolutely loved our stay at the Westin Charlotte. My college age son and I stayed for the weekend to attend a Panthers game and the location could not be better. It is an easy walk to the stadium which made game day stress free and fun. The room was spotless, very comfortable, and exactly what you want after a long day of walking and cheering. The staff was friendly, welcoming, and very accommodating. They acknowledged my Titanium status and provided a room upgrade which was very much appreciated. The lounge was a great bonus and a nice place to relax. Overall an amazing hotel experience that elevated our entire weekend. We will definitely be back.

Overall, good location and decent service. Views are okay. There are 2 fundamental issues with this hotel: 1. Extremely poor layout of the room. There’s a giant couch that’s kept next to the twin bed which leaves absolutely no room to get off the bed or even sit on the couch. Here’s practically no use of that couch and the room is really cramped. 2. Hotel does not provide water upon room service. If you’re going there for a conference, make sure to else water before returning to your room
