The Water Tower Inn, BW Premier Collection

I called the front desk to inquire about the special rate for a conference taking place at this location. The lady bluntly responded with, "sorry - what conference?" and then interrupted me as I started to re-share the name and said: "No. I don't have any rooms left in that block considering the event literally starts tomorrow. But I have government rates if you're working for it." It was quite alarming how rude, short and condescending she was. Completely unprovoked. It's not even 9 AM yet..... Rough day already? A simple, customer service friendly kind response would have gone a long way. Something as simple as: "Oh no! Unfortunately there's no more availability with the block rate at $xx but if you would like to stay, I would be happy to check what other rooms and rates we have ava

Positive: Restaurant in lobby and the location. Negative: Sauan and indoor hot tub were both broken. The staff blamed this on the guests repeatedly and would not give us a free drink or breakfast to make up for it.

I do not recommend this hotel to literally anyone and I never will again. I have made sure to let as many people know as possible about the absolutely horrendous experience my partner, my family and I had to deal with when we decided to book a staycation for NYE at this hotel. I have stayed at countless hotels and never have I had such a horrible horrible experience as I did at this hotel. I am absoIutely appalled at the service and unprofessionalism of this hotel. When we first arrived we were told all the facilites were down, which was the entire reason we booked to stay there. So we already started off on the wrong foot as a simple phone call or message would of been extremely appreciated seeing as the staff knew of this issue for a while. At this point I wish we would of just cancelle

To put it short - if you’re used to enjoying clean, decent quality comfort in a hotel, don’t stay here. If you’re looking for a stay where you can hear every step, conversation, and door closing as if it were next to you, the very peaceful, resort like sounds of your neighbour using the washroom, uncomfortable mattresses, lumpy pillows and bedding, dingy towels in a washroom so small you can barely close the door while inside all for the rate of other good quality places, this is the hotel for you! They can’t even manage putting a proper cover over their duvets, they use the top and cover sheets to attempt to cover it. I booked a suite, 250 per night. wallpaper falling off the wall, air exchange unit hanging off the wall by 2 inches. rattled non stop. carpet pulled up in one section. No carpet in the hallway. Button broken off elevator call button. Garbage left in the hall for the entire stay. I gave it one for the pool. 13 emails to resolve and nothing but lip service. Save your money, its old and tired and requires a lot of repair.
