Quality Inn & Suites Bay Front

I recently had the pleasure of staying at the Quality Inn on Bay Street, and I cannot express enough how incredible our experience was, thanks to the amazing staff! From the moment we arrived, Mary Rose greeted us with warmth and kindness that instantly made us feel at home. Her sweet demeanor set the tone for our stay, and we truly appreciated her attentiveness. However, it was Taylor who truly went above and beyond to make our visit unforgettable. We were there during a challenging time, and she made it her mission to ensure that my three daughters felt special and cared for. This was a terrible experience. There was no housekeeping service, and no water bottle was provided in the room or at the reception. Basic amenities were missing. The building was very old, and the bathroom had an old toilet and sinks with lots of scratches and chips. Staff told me I had to be a choice member to get water. I won’t stay here again and won’t recommend it. However, I spoke to the hotel manager the next morning, who acknowledged the issues and offered me a one-night stay equivalent choice points. Unfortunately, the experience was ruined.

Large room, furnishings were a little dated but adequate. Television was too small for the room and the heating was poor but it had been storming for weeks. Heat should have been adjusted before guests arrival as it took hours to heat the room to a comfortable temperature. Breakfast was great it’s a big plus from me for this, I have been travelling for 7mths in Ontario and Manitoba so I have stayed in many hotels, mostly rooms were provided by First Nations Organizations which is the only reason I wasn’t part of Choice Hotels sooner. Heading out to travel in a couple of weeks so you may be having me as a guest soon.

Good location and great staff. The property is clean as are the rooms. The interior is a bit dated... think something between the Regan Administration and that of Bill Clinton. Everything works though and the staff really are great. If you like breakfast sausages, this is the place for you. Honestly, fair value for money spent. Difficult to find something to complain about with this property.

The price I secured on Agoda was incredibly affordable and offered exceptional value for money. The free parking was a huge bonus and made the whole trip hassle-free. The hotel is impeccably clean.
