The Sunset Inn - Islamorada

Positives: Quaint setting in a woodsy shady area. Room was spacious, beds were comfortable, and AC worked great. Negatives: No hot water! No shelf in bathroom for personal items. Bathroom mirror hung ridiculously too low. TV had outdated channel system. Lots of road noise.

Great motel style hotel. We had a double room, which is two double beds.|Amenities were perfect. Coffee machine, fridge, safe and all the toiletries we needed.|Good standard of decor in the room.|The pool area is a great space too. An oasis away from the busy road that is out the front of the property.|Sunset Inn is great location to do water based activities with Robbie’s Marina about a 5 min drive away.|Another Bonus, the hotel is right across the road from Islamorada Brewery.|Why not 5 stars, it was purely because the air con unit in our room was so noisy we had to turn it off. We tried but could not get to sleep with it on.

Its decent but its not easy to find in the evening or night when its dark. Would help if it has a bright sign for the Inn.It has a pool at the back and you can hear the noise if people are partying out there but it seems to quiet down fortunately for us for the day we were there.

Fantastic location, close to everything we needed. Very nice room, very clean and no "hotel smell". Staff are so friendly and the pool is perfectly heated. We will definitely be staying again.

Nice hotel, typical American Hotel. The two ladies at the front desk were always very kind to us and available for everything. The ping pong table is well-maintained. The pool is excellent and the temperature is warm: perfect. Cons? - The air conditioning is too too loud to sleep on. - Some outlets don't work. Already reported to the staff - Humid rooms. But it's also the area's fault that's humid. For me they could even be a four-star!! Congratulations!!
