Kon-Tiki Resort

We love the Kon Tiki! We rented Cottage #2 this year and it was awesome! Everything we needed was included. The screen porch was excellent for us to sit and just watch the water and play cards. It was beautifully furnished.

This was our first trip to the Keys and we stayed for 3 days in Islamorada. Kon-Tiki was wonderful and we would definitely stay here if we return! The property is charming, scenic, tranquil, and well maintained and we saw a manatee swimming around in the dock area. Louie at the front desk, and manager Steve and wife Kelly were friendly and helpful. We had Unit 24 which is a clean, cheerfully decorated and spacious apt. on the 2nd floor with a screened in porch we used every day. We walked to restaurants and the arts area. If you are looking for a simple, family camp-style feel that is centrally located, this is your place!

Our stay at Kon Tiki Resort in Islamorada was absolutely wonderful! The rooms were exceptionally clean and well-maintained, giving us a fresh and comfortable place to relax. The grounds were beautifully kept, with a peaceful atmosphere that made the whole property feel like a true island escape. What really made the experience stand out was the staff — every person we encountered was incredibly friendly, accommodating, and personable. They truly made us feel welcome and at home throughout our stay. If you’re looking for a clean, charming, and well-cared-for place with outstanding hospitality in the Florida Keys, Kon Tiki Resort is a fantastic choice! Highly recommend!

Polite and friendly check in. We stayed in unit 22 ( 2nd time) and room was clean and comfortable. Room had a large bathroom with lots of towels and a good shower. House keeping came in each day and did a good job of cleaning, emptying the bins and leaving fresh towels. Unit 22 has a full size fridge with a freezer, coffee maker, tv and microwave. It doesn't provide dish wear but provides coffee cups and coffee for the coffee maker. You have a narrow balcony that does have a small table and 2 chairs so you can sit out and have a coffee/breakfast in the fresh air. You also get a designated parking spot with your unit. This hotel is a hidden gem. It’s a 2/3 star resort. I’ve stayed in #11 which has two queens, bathroom and a little kitchen. If you have a boat and want to drive it down dockage is FREE 👀😲storage for your boat trailer is also FREE. Whether you’d like to fish the ocean blue or sit in the sun swim in the pool it’s a great place to chillax!
