Topsider Resort

Love this place. been coming here since 2005. So much to see and do.|Best money i ever spent. |Seen alot of changes but it's all for the better.

Topsiders Resort is a 1980s resort located in Islamorada in the Keys. It’s made up of 20 two bedroom, two bath units with kitchens and living room. They do have pretty much everything you would need, but it’s very low rent. They have a small beach and a dock. I was interested in staying there because of the way it’s set up with the whole house on a stilt. Very interesting, but the front desk told us it got damaged in hurricane Irma.

This is our annual winter het a way. Not fancy but we love it!

Love it here! The rooms are very spacious for families. The beach is also very nice and calm and there’s lot of dock space for boat parking. For larger boats, you have to launch in outside ramps but small boats can use the concrete pad there. Highly recommended to bring mosquito spray, sunscreen, and a good time. Location is also convenient to restaurants and bars.

The place needs work. The landscaping is terrible. Several dead big branches on tree's. The condominiums had very poor remodeling work done. Floors are separating. Paint doesn't match. Furniture is falling apart. Outside LED lights are not functioning on several units. This is definitely a safety issue at night. Decking has screws sticking up all over. A big place like this. They should have enough staff on sight. Especially landscaping for taking care of the grounds. But absolutely nothing was done while we stayed. I had heard in the past. That this place used to be beautiful. But not anymore. Plants, trees ,and bushes. Are still sitting in the shipping pots. The location is great. And we had a relaxing stay. The place just needs work. And definitely more maintenance staff. On sight.
