The Caribbean Resort

We were guests of people who booked a cottage, and I must say, this is a true hidden gem of a resort. The cottage we stayed in was very well built, with 2 bedrooms, 2 bathrooms, a full kitchen, dining and living room, wraparound porch with outdoor furniture. Very relaxing, not the hustle and bustle of some other resorts that are more like cruise ships than a place to chill out. The motto here is 'Welcome Home" and it fits because I thought I was in a home, not a rental cottage. Well appointed with high quality touches. Bikes are kayaks available to use, docking for boats, an ocean fishing pier, some brick pathways, packed sand driveway. The host is super nice if you meet him. Gated access at night. Free wi-fi. One of the best places we have stayed. The cottage was wonderful, nothing cheap. The place was spotless and the staff responsive and friendly.

We just returned from an amazing 7 night stay. I couldn’t have asked for a better place to stay. We were 2 families with all boys ranging from 13-19 and rented both coconut palm units. The units were unbelievable. High quality, clean, comfortable, and beautiful. The pullout sofa bed is actually very comfortable. The kitchen has everything you would need, including high end appliances. Quality of construction at this resort is top notch. The kids were never bored, always fishing, kayaking, swimming, and riding bikes. It’s located off the main drag, and we felt totally comfortable letting the kids ride bikes off the property. We stayed at the rooms in Royal Palm on the ocean front. Spectacular! Some details that may or be not on their website: What’s included: Hair dryer, Small toiletries — shampoo/conditioner, soap, etc. (daily housekeeping will re-supply as needed), Gas BBQ, No food items (like seasonings) provided, Full-size washer/dryer located in 2nd guest room bathroom, Iron and board, TP/paper towels provided and replenished daily by housekeeping, Garbage bags, Dishwasher and soap, Coffee maker 12-14 cups w/reusable filter and plenty of coffee in bags. Upon walking into a common foyer, there will be stairs and an elevator to access upper main floor. We will definitely return!
