Sands of Islamorada Hotel & Resort

Just stayed here for one night. I have checked into several hundred hotels all over the world. The cleanliness of the accommodation in this hotel was breathtaking and by far the best I have ever experienced. Top marks to housekeeping. Really nice, quiet hotel with lovely sea dock. Good bird spotting too with woodpeckers and nesting osprey

We have had an amazing stay at this hotel! My husband, my two Boston Terriers , and I have loved every second. Extremely clean dies not even do it justice. The little dog park was continent. Rooms were very comfortable. The view from our ocean front room was amazing. It’s also very quiet. I wanted to come back a few nights in Feb. but it was already booked and I can see why. I’m going to go ahead and book for next Dec.

Such a cute place. We enjoyed our stay. The room was clean, comfortable and quiet. We arrived late (around midnight). We let them know the day of check in about our late arrival. They told us where we could get our key after hours. Super easy and hassle free. Just want we needed after a long day of traveling. Highly recommend staying here!

Positive: It was an exclusive, small boutique hotel. Negative: It took a little while to cool off the room. 2 out of the 3 gas grills didn't work. And the wifi only worked outside.

We only stayed a quick overnight stay but it was a great location for a stop on the way further south into the Keys. The room was very nice, clean and well appointed, only complaint was the pillows, but we are pretty picky when it comes to pillows lol! The 🌅 sunrise view was spectacular! Grills available to cook your meal and the macaws were fun to watch. Dedicated parking spot in front of room made for easy in and out as well as keys being left for us on arrival and drop box upon checkout. Deposit was credited back within hours of leaving. Would definitely stay again if we are in the area.
