The Lodge at Hammock Beach Resort

I frequent the restaurant and bar mainly, good chef and great views of the ocean and golf course. Never stayed there overnight because I am a local resident, however I have been at a guests room on upper level, and it was quite nice. Service at times can be challenging, but still worth it if you are not in a hurry. The golf course is top of the line.

In serious need of refurbishment. Severe lack of maintenance. Mold and mildew in the shower. Worn carpets, furniture and scuffed walls. ||Not at all what you would expect of a “boutique” hotel. Check-in and check-out was cheerless and uninterested. Like we interrupted them. ||Only redeeming factor was the ocean front view. But for the money would not return. Would not return. They should be embarrassed at the state of this place.

Closest to ocean of any other place we have found. Great setting. In house restaurant is excellent. I made an error in our reservation but staff fixed us up with what we wanted including a no cost upgrade!!!

We came for my wife’s birthday on a recommendation from a friend but it was awful. A wedding was held right in front of our balcony with music blasting until 10 p.m., and then at 5:30 a.m. the hotel’s own speakers started blaring music again. No peace, no sleep, and zero consideration for guests.

The Lodge at Hammock Beach Resorts is the place to stay at the resort! With just twenty units you feel pampered. Stay in room 9 if you can. It has an L-shaped balcony so you see the ocean and the 18th green (right in front of you). The Atlantic Grill is located in the Lodge and the food is delicious. Also, there is a smaller pool that you’ll love and feel you own! It’s worth the money!
