Fairfield by Marriott Inn & Suites Palm Coast I-95

Positive: Checking out Negative: The location. The decor is outdated. There are no usb plugs in the building and the breakfast was terrible and lasted only a portion of the early morning .

I reserved a room on the bonvoy app. I got to the hotel and was told there were no king rooms which I had reserved. The queen room was about 50 dollars more. After 10 minutes arguing, Jerry gave me the room for the same price. When I inspected the room, I lifted the mattress pad and there were many nasty stains. It looked almost like a crime scene from television. I went back and asked for a refund. Jerry refused, he even refused to give me a receipt. I called Marriott in the parking lot and after 20 minutes, I went back and got a receipt showing 0 balance. It took a week to fall off my credit card. I will include pictures if possible. I believe Jerry gets satisfaction from giving tired travelers a hard time. What a nightmare. You have been warned!

This is probably the worst Marriott property I have ever stayed in. You come to expect a certain level from Marriott and I don’t believe this was built by them. This had to be a hotel they acquired when buying up properties. The best thing here was the man at check in who was so kind and had such positive energy. They obviously invested in the lobby area because it looked good, but when I got to my room I was not happy. It just needs to be gutted. Everything is old and outdated. The shower head was green from years of use. The walls were stained. The tiles were antiquated. It was just not pleasant. The hotel is located right off 95 so I could hear the traffic all night. Bed was clean and comfortable. Unfortunately, when I entered the room there was an unfresh smell that I couldn’t identify

This was a nice stay. Personnel was friendly and accommodating. Everything was clean. I had my friend with me and I was taking her sightseeing. I realized that it would’ve been more convenient if I left a day earlier so we could stay in Daytona. I spoke with who I think might’ve been the manager on duty and he arranged it for me with no issue! Very friendly and accommodating. I’d definitely stay here again.

The employees were nice and friendly. The breakfast was great. Our room was a dump. From the ceiling to the floor-yuck. The ceiling had water stains from previous leaks. The mini fridge was wobbly and only cool. The window was thin and allowed all the traffic noise from I-95 in. The bathroom was ‘clean’ if you consider a spray and wipe adequate. Hair in the drain. Sheets had stains. Closet door didn’t open. Even the desk lamp was dirty and rusted. The chair next to the bed was so hard to sit on. I definitely would not be back to this location.
