The Lion

We just spent a wonderful 2 weeks at The Lion at Lionshead. The apartments are super nice to live in with very high end kitchens and facilities. The lobby, games room and coffee areas are beautifully presented. The Lion never feels busy. The modern interiors and quiet environment really differentiate the Lion from other properties in Vail. Ben Jarrell who overseas The Lion does a wonderful job of making the Lion feel a personal place to stay. Despite our best intentions we never made it into the well specified gym! A golf buggy shuttle runs you straight to the gondola for easy access for skiing but it’s really so close we often just walked back. An amazing retreat! Super clean and spacious with several amenities to make you feel like you're at home! Andrey was hands down the best and went above and beyond to make sure our stay was incredible! Great location and the free Vail transportation system has a stop across the street from the property to take you through Lionshead to Vail Village. If you want an awesome experience you must stay here!

Spacious, clean and comfortable accommodations. Size of the kitchen is impressive. The layout of the apartment is logical. Close to skiing lifts, shopping. The shuttle to the mountain was helpful. Lockers for ski equipment were great. Game room was well equipped.

This was our second stay at the Lion. It's a beautiful place and we enjoyed the pools and steam room after skiing/snowboarding all day. Lockers to store equipment are a nice perk. Close to Lionshead Village and can either walk or take free shuttle to Vail Village.

Our experience as a couple at The Lion was impeccable. This property is only 6 years old so the accommodations were clean, modern yet very cozy, warm, and plentiful. The service was excellent and amenities convenient (and extensive). We cannot praise this property enough. Very highly recommend. We will return again soon. Worth every penny.
