The Galatyn Lodge

I was telling a friend about our stay at The Galatyn, and the highest compliment I could come up with is that it’s probably the only hotel where I’d feel comfortable letting my baby crawl around on the floor. The place was absolutely immaculate. Every detail felt clean, well cared for, and thoughtfully maintained. On top of that, the front desk staff were incredibly welcoming. By the time we left, they felt more like old friends than hotel staff. Truly a wonderful experience. Also if your kids are in ski school the location is a 11/10.

Wonderful stay at the Galatyn Lodge! Love the location on the edge of town, and closer to Betty Ford gardens. The Lodge is very clean, quiet, and a great place if you're travelling with your pet. Our lodge room was very clean and comfortable. Josh and Jody at the front desk are incredibly helpful, friendly, and made sure we had everything we needed for our short weekend trip. We've stayed at a lot of places in Vail, and the Galatyn is the best. Will definitely be staying here again!

The lodge was extremely clean and well kept beginning at the front entry as well as when we walked into our room. A humidifier was provided in our room and was ready when we arrived. The staff at the front desk were very friendly and provided suggestions on places we might want to visit in Vail. We had friendly conversations with the front desk each of the 5 days we stayed in February, that made it feel like we were back home. The pool area looked great but we were so busy that we didn’t have time to jump in. The lodge is in a great location, walkable to ski slopes and restaurants, with a bus stop right out the front door providing free transportation around town. My wife and I highly recommend the Galatyn Lodge in Vail Colorado.

Everything about this place is TOP NOTCH! I will say I am a bit of a snob when it comes to hotel stays (my dad is a travel agent and I’m a bit of a cleanliness freak) but wow, I was totally blown away! Galatyn Lodge is so well organized and clean it was a level of service that doesn’t exist many places today. Jodi was kind, helpful, sweet and really takes her job very seriously. She showed us the map and recommended great spots. She was able to help secure us guest passes to the sister hotel for a spa day and it was unbelievable! Sauna, steam, hot tub etc. at Galatyn they also keep the pool open and heated to 90 degrees unlike some other places close by. Even when it was late night or early morning hours the building was locked and secured and staff was onsite if anything were to require

This is our second stay at the Galatyn Lodge and I couldn’t be more impressed! It’s a stones throw from Vail Village with all the shopping and restaurants and the gondola. The quiet rooms are large and nicely appointed with very comfortable beds. Pets are welcome. There is underground parking and a heated pool. There’s no restaurant, but Jodi at the front desk is an expert on restaurants and reservations. I guarantee you won’t be disappointed.
