The King Street House by Kasa

This is bitter sweet . The room itself is nice but I had an issue of the room have a lingering sewer smell. I contacted the management and they said they would fix it and still not fixed after 2 days on the room. They continuously said they will fix it and it never happen.7 I asked for a discount on the stay and they denied it. I tried to spray febreeze and still don't help.. I cold the sing hole with paper towels and don't help. It is a disgusting smell .. I had to endure this smell during me stay and started getting sick from the smell.

Change out of pillow case cost more then usd70, I stayed for 6 nights though….other than that, location was good

I've stayed here for Christmas holidays every year since 2022. This time I stayed for an entire month and enjoyed a truly relaxing vacation in Old Town. I absolutely love the layout and the comfiness of the room, and the location is unbeatable.. KASA's virtual front desk was available 24/7 to answer questions and took care of my needs in a professional and surprisingly efficient manner. I truly felt at home during my entire stay. I am looking forward to coming back later this year.

I had an awful experience at this Kasa location. I arrived the first night to find a fire alarm buzzing loudly outside the door to my unit. I informed them of this upon arrival in the early afternoon and they said they would investigate. A few hours later they said there was nothing they could do. I made do with earplugs the first night and moved to a new unit on the second (see below) but I don’t think the alarm was ever fixed. The next morning I discovered that the shower was a literal trickle, a few drops and unable to work. They said they would investigate but, as with the fire alarm, were not able to do anything. Instead they offered a move which ended up being to a unit facing the loud King Street with an ADA layout. As there’s no one onsite and the move is being conducted via text

Location is perfect, walkable to all areas of Old Towne. Our unit was clean and comfortable. Other reviews warned about outside noise, we had no issues. Comuncation for check-in, out was great. Will definitely use Kasa in the future
