Prince Street Inn

This Inn was an absolute gem of a find. I only needed somewhere for two nights, and I honestly wish I could’ve stayed longer! Spacious, comfortable, stylish room for under $100/night in Alexandria, full kitchen and bathroom, fantastic location, and shockingly quiet! It felt like staying in a friend’s apartment, and I found myself wishing I could find a place like that closer to where I live! The location is fantastic for someone looking to just wander around the city: everything on my map was less than a 20min walk, and it’s central to loads of cute cafes, fantastic restaurants, and quirky shops. If I had to return to the area for work or holiday, I’d definitely look into this Inn first!

We stayed in one of their suites and it was a decent base camp for our daily adventures but I would not recommend this spot to home bodies. A few things become apparent quickly but I'd suggest reading the Air BNB reviews. The main thing you should know about is noise on the third story. AC units are mounted on the room and there is an obvious but intermittent noise that you could hear in your pillow. Great for those who like white noise but not so much for general travelers

The Prince Street Inn is in a fantastic location, and the bedroom/living room area was lovely, clean, and very comfortable—perfect for my quick work trip. Unfortunately, I can only give 3 stars due to the bathroom. It felt unfinished, almost like it was still under construction. Many of the floor tiles weren’t grouted and were loose, with sharp edges that felt unsafe. The towel rack was broken, the toilet paper holder was barely attached to the wall, and even the interior of the shower door was loose. I'll try to upload the videos separately as they're too long to attach to this review. With some attention to the bathroom, this property could easily be a 5-star stay.

I had a lovely week-long stay at the Prince Street Inn! The location is perfect—everything is within walking distance, including great restaurants, the beautiful waterfront, and the metro, making it super easy to get around. The building is very clean and newly renovated, with all the essentials for a comfortable stay. Street parking is available, which was really convenient. What really stood out was the management—they were excellent in communication and very welcoming throughout my stay. It truly felt like a home away from home. I highly recommend the Prince Street Inn and would definitely stay here again!

Great place and good service! Our room was cute, just like the photos showed. Small but cozy. The Prince Suite never got quite as cold as we would have liked, the bathroom door was very squeaky, and in general you could hear lots of noise through the walls from the other suites, the hallway and the stairwells. We felt that it was a good value for the location and there’s tons to do in Old Town!
