The Ivey's Hotel

The Hotel is very lovely, nicely decorated. But our sheets smelled like wet dogs. Front desk staff was very kind. The elevator was out our entire stay which made it pretty inconvenient as someone in our party has mobility issues. Valet service was subpar. Our app did not work the entire stay to request our car which made for a whole lot of unnecessary standing around and waiting. Sophias lounge was good. In room breakfast service was tasty. Overall, not the worst stay but I was not overly impressed.

We are not wealthy, but we have had some amazing experiences throughout the years and The Ivey’s is at the top of our list of hotel stays. My wife and I thoroughly enjoyed our stay and will definitely be back for a weekend getaway once again. The front lobby staff were friendly and welcoming and the process was very easy. We loved our stay despite not taking advantage of the restaurant or lounge on this visit. We did order in room service and it was very well done. The room was very clean and the interior design of a French theme was great without being too much. Kudos to housekeeping for making us feel so welcome, despite never seeing a member of housekeeping. The attention to detail made our little getaway something to remember and gave us a break from our everyday lives. Thanks so much.

My husband reserved us a room for a couple of nights stay at "The Ivey's Hotel" for my birthday and this hotel is absolutely gorgeous! The interior design of the entire hotel is a mix of modern and vintage decor. The suite was so beautiful...it was spacious and wonderfully appointed (too much to describe here in my review). The service was top tier...very professional and attentive. We also liked that the hotel was in walking distance to shopping, the Belk theater and other restaurants if you choose to venture outside of the hotel for some of your meals. We are already planning our next stay!

Unfortunately a family emergency cut our stay short, and all three of these employees went out the way to help us head home! The Ivey's hotel is not only gorgeous but the staff is unforgettable! I hope to return soon and finish our stay! Definitely recommend choosing here as your stay for a luxury experience! Thank you to all the staff!
