The Hotel Paisano

From the moment we stepped to the front desk Chrissy greeted us with a warm smile and assisted us in checking in early. The Hotel has such a warm and welcoming feeling. Dined at Jett’s Grill and the Roast Tacos and Giant Burger were exceptional. The Food however as good as it was did not rival the service we received. From the Bartender to the wait staff everybody was definitely on point. Would not hesitate recommending Hotel Paisano to all my Family and Friends.

Five stars for Hotel Paisano without hesitation. Staying here feels like stepping into a piece of Texas film history, but with all the comfort you want today. The property has that timeless, elegant Southern charm, beautiful architecture, warm interiors, and a relaxed atmosphere that fits Marfa perfectly. Our room, 206, was especially spacious, with a large, comfortable layout and an equally roomy bathroom that made it easy to settle in and relax. The on site restaurant is genuinely great, not just convenient, and the gift shops are full of fun, unique finds that actually feel curated. The front desk staff could not have been kinder or more helpful, which made the whole stay even better. We had a wonderful 3 night stay at Hotel Paisano over Thanksgiving. Our room (with two queen beds) was very spacious. There was a roll away in the closet, which was very convenient (and made our kids happy). The bathroom is very small, but also adds to the historic charm. The staff was very helpful. The morning coffee was very tasty. The location was perfect, within walking distance of many city attractions. We loved the whole vibe and history of the hotel and will definitely return.

Beautiful, classy and historic! The Hotel Paisano in Marfa, Texas is a page from Hollywood history! Elizabeth Taylor, James Dean called Paisano home while filming the classic film “Giant”, and that history is showcased in pristine condition throughout the hotel. I highly suggest a stop in Marfa, Tx to see the “Marfa Lights” phenomena and when you do, make your stay even more memorable at The Hotel Paisano. It was suggested to me by my friend who had also suggested the Marfa lights. I must admit I wasn’t expecting much and I was surprised and delighted by the quaint Marfa town, the lights, but my favorite part was the stay at Paisano! Very friendly staff, exceptional service!

My wife and I stayed over one night as part of a “road trip” from San Antonio to CA. Hotel Paisano has wonderful architecture, an amazing western/art deco lobby and is contiguous to a nice selection of gift shops. Room (James Dean) was bit dated but ok and bed was comfy. Restaurant not open. Would recommend this hotel and would stay again if in Marfa !
