For those who have never walked into a hotel room and immediately felt the energy of a space, this is your moment. The entire hotel design concept is top notch; and it exudes a subtle and deeply thoughtful attention to craft that will create double takes. From custom light fixtures, to petrified benches, hot plates, and bolsters you didn’t know you couldn’t live without; everything has a place, and at times it feels like you’re on a replica set of a movie you shoulda saw years ago. Design that feels very intimate but also perfectly to scale.

Loved our quick stay here on the way to Big Bend! We were wishing we had stayed a second night, it was perfect for us. Quirky, homey, and welcoming. You won’t regret it! *we stayed in motel #4 and loved that it was on the end!*

Motel quickly became my first choice when staying in Marfa and has been ever since. It’s a beautifully renovated property that hasn’t lost its soul. Each room is unique, comfortable and functional. The amenities are reason enough to stay on their own; I love doing the sauna/cold plunge combo each morning, the courtyard is perfect for reading and stargazing, and the laundry is downright convenient. The service staff are magical (literally, I think they might be wizards?) because the grounds are perfectly maintained & frequently sanitized, yet i’ve never seen/heard the cleaning crew. Even the gravel stays meticulously raked, erasing footprints and creating a linear pattern that adds to the unreal, serene ambiance of this place. Incredibly hip and stylish, the accommodations here have been painstakingly curated in a way that is truly delightful. Every detail conveys a deep level of design and thoughtfulness, and it will make you stay an absolute joy! from the incredibly soft and comfortable bedding, to the desert chic design elements, the beautiful Landscaping and the cleverly appointed courtyard (with a sauna and plunge pool, outdoor fireplace, and comfortable seating)- you won’t find a more relaxing and place to stay - not to mention its central location that makes exploring Marfa by foot such a breeze. There are only a few rooms in this intimate, upscale motel, so if one is available, I would highly suggest booking it!

Pretty cool spot. Clean room, great location and very unique. We had a nice 2 night stay in suite 1! We will be back!!
