Cibolo Creek Ranch

We've stayed here 6-7 times over the years and overall (except for the food, see below) it a wonderful place, an unexpected, unique discovery. The staff is friendly and professional, the rooms are spacious and very well appointed and the grounds are beautiful. However, after being away for several years, there were some disappointing notes to our recent stay. 1) This place is expensive, they've now started charging separately for room and meals. While the rooms were great, the meals have taken a downturn. we had a dinner of polenta, greens and lamb chops. The veggies were very good but the lamb was well done, solid gray color. Being the centerpiece of the meal it was a definite downer. Anyone can take something off the grill earlier vs later. The breakfast at CCR have always been great, st

My wife and I spent two very relaxing days at the ranch. We have traveled all over the world and this place is a truly unique one-of-a-kind experience. Everyone on staff was attentive to our needs--check in personnel, wait staff, and activities coordinator. Thank you to everyone in the kitchen who catered to my wife's special dietary needs! Thank you to Lupita and Tony for the warm welcome, Mooney for good conversation and excellent drinks, and Octavio for guiding our activities. There are many others as well that made this such a memorable trip for us, so thank you all! We plan on returning in the not too distant future.

If you want a peaceful stay away from the city, Cibolo Creek Ranch is your spot. The birds are amazing and the views spectacular. The stars at night are visible as the area is free of light pollution. Enjoy walks, shooting guns and good food!!!

A wonderful trip we will never forget well worth the money. A luxury getaway with so many things to do hiking ,horseback riding, pikelball , stargazing, hunting and all in wonderful beauty. Will go back any time of year! If you’re looking for a unique getaway, this is your place!
